June 1, 2009:
Aloha is founded.
June 2, 2009:
The Mushroom Kingdom agrees to serve as Aloha's protector.
Aloha issues its Declaration of Existence[1] on OWF.
August 3, 2009:
Several former Aloha members branch off and form a new alliance, Créole.

First Charter of Aloha:
Article 1 - Membership
Aloha members have the right to access the Aloha forums and the Aloha public and private channels, and to use these methods of communication without censor to the views expressed. Aloha members will not be banished from the alliance, or have their privileges suspended for any period of time, without receiving an explanation from a government official.
Article 2 - The President:
The President will run Aloha with complete control. The President is entitled to create or change alliance rules and policies at any time. The President is responsible for enforcement of the alliance rules and policy. The President may be removed by unanimous vote of the Cabinet. In the event the President is removed, the Vice President will become President.
Article 3 - The Cabinet:
The President will be assisted by a Cabinet of government officials. The President will select his Cabinet. Individual Cabinet members will be given titles designating a specific area of concern. Regardless of their specific title, Cabinet members are encouraged to work together, and with the general alliance membership, to ensure that the day to day running of the alliance goes smoothly. The President may remove a Cabinet member at any time.
Article 4 - Charter Dissolution and Elections:
The First Charter of Aloha will stay in effect until it is decided to be dissolved by the Aloha President. At the time of dissolution, the Second Charter of Aloha will take effect, written in accordance with representative democratic principles, followed immediately by full elections as outlined in the Second Charter.
