Currency (¤) is a generic term for money, and can refer to a specific type of money.
In Cyber Nations, a nation's chosen currency type is only used for cosmetic purposes, as all currencies in the game are of equal value. Thus, if a dollar-using nation gives $10,000 to a nation which uses Pounds Sterling, the recipient will gain £10,000.
