[edit] Nation Information

Nicodemus Rahl, as a boy in a far away country, despised the way he and his people were treated. They received very poor wages and had to work very long hours, even in the worst snowstorms and on the hottest days. He vowed, one day while working on his small shabby family farm, to bring the people who wanted a better life away from this place, and build a better life.

One day when he was a young man, Nicodemus offered that chance to the people in his city. Those that wished a better life fled with him far far away. Before he left, he pleaded with his family to come away with him to a better place. They would not leave, his father not believing there could be anything better than the life they led already. He went away with the rest of his people, forever to be saddened for leaving his family behind

He soon was helping the small village build better homes, schools, bridges, aqueducts, grocery stores, and high-end movie theaters. The people were very grateful that he made this opportunity, and they made him the ruler of their fast growing country. They built him his own house high on a hill overlooking the town. From there, he watched in joy as his people prospered. Soon more people began coming from the lands around, hearing great things of the prospering town, Bandakar as they had named it.

One day, Nicodemus met a beautiful young woman, Merissa, whom he found he loved the moment he laid eyes on her. Soon, they were married, and had a beautiful daughter, Eryne, and lived happily.

For a while.

One night, when Eryne was mostly grown into a woman, some people from Nicodemus's former home came on a mission. They were jealous, and didn't think he should have all the nice things he made for himself and his people. They set his house on fire, and luckily Nicodemus was able to get Eryne out alive. But when he went back in to save her mother, he never came back out. Eryne was left there and watched as her life burned to the ground.

The people from the town acted at once. That night they found a temporary place for her to stay while they rebuilt her house on the hill. As she was the heiress of Nicodemus, she became the new ruler, the new Confessor of Bandakar. They also built, in the center of town, a statue of her father and mother. They said they did it as a suprise, since Eryne and her family had done so many things for their country.

And now, Eryn watches over her people still as they continue to grow and prosper.
