Beibanguó is a growing, developing, and old nation at 185 days old with citizens primarily of Spanish ethnicity whose religion is Buddhism. Its technology is progressing moderately and its citizens enjoy an average amount of technological improvements within the nation. Its citizens pay moderately high tax rates and they are somewhat unhappy in their work environments as a result. The citizens of Beibanguó work diligently to produce Water and Gold as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. The military of Beibanguó has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Beibanguó does not allow any form of government protests. Its armed police forces work quickly at "dissolving" any and all government protests. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Beibanguó detains individuals who participate in the slanderous comments about the government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Beibanguó will trade with other nations with questionable ethical treatment of their citizens but prefers to keep such trade agreements a secret.
Language Problem Edit
In Beibanguó, there are two official languages, Spanish and Russian. While most of the population (an estimated 95%) speak Spanish (sometimes they also can speak Russian), 5% can only speak Spanish. These are mostly immigrants from Russia. The current president, Ryan Henry, is trying to fix this problem by putting more of a Spanish curriculum in Beibangúono schools.
Beibangúono Cuisine Edit
Beibangúono cuisine is mostly based on what Spaniards ate.
Snow Storm of 2008 Edit
On March 22, 2008, a low from the west, which was bringing extremely heavy rain to Russia, was about to collide with frigid air from the Arctic Ocean over Beibanguó. This caused a massive snow storm all over Beibanguó. Snow totals in La Plaza Bella were 47 inches. The Beibangúono navy was brought in to plow the snow out of the capital city.
From Tundra to GrasslandEdit
The Tundra was a tough land to build and develop on, so the president put scientists to work and we found a way that grass could grow here. This species of great-green frigid grass was called El Heroe de Verde (The Hero of Green in Spanish). This made the area much more beautiful and easier to build on. Also, trees that could survive in the cold were also planted. The climate in summer time did seem to warm up now, to a 70 degrees. Also, more days of sunshine were occurring.
