The Californian Union is a parliamentary imperial sovereign state and unitary state consisting of seven constituent countries: the United States of JBR, United Duchies of Central Kingdom, Kern, Gauntletia, the Democratic People's Republic of California, Peru, and Chile. It comprises land of what was originally Central, Southern California, the San Fransisco Bay Area, Southern Nevada, Western Arizona, Northern Baja California, Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, and all of Chile and Peru. The nation was created on May 17, 2011 after the Treaty of California was signed between the two original constituent nations; JBR and Central Kingdom.
The Californian Union is governed by a parliamentary and three emperors and the seat of government being located in JBR City. There are three developed national administrations, all three differing in government and structure, situated in JBR City, Fresno, San Fransisco: the United States of JBR, United Duchies of Central Kingdom, and the Democratic People's Republic of California respectively. There are also four association states: Peru, Chile, Gauntletia, and Kern who are considered constituent countries in spite of being constituent countries themselves to the United States of JBR.
The United States of JBR has a promcapablic government led by a president and also governs four constituent countries of the Californian Union: Peru, Chile, Kern, and Gauntletia (all of which sub-governments varies); the Central Kingdom has an elective monarchy led by a king; the Democratic People's Republic of California is a communist state and led by a premier.
Etymology

The term, the "Californian Union" was first mentioned in the Treaty of California. It was chosen due to the two original countries' desires to unite the former state of California. The demonym, "Californian" is derived for the original term for people living in California. Californian refers to anything related to the Californian Union or its people living in the United States of JBR or its dependencies, the United Duchies of Central Kingdom, or the Democratic People's Republic of California.

The Californian Union is composed of three main constituent countries: the United States of JBR, the United Duchies of Central Kingdom, and the Democratic People's Republic of California. There are four "minor" constituent countries who are themselves constituent countries of the United States of JBR: Kern, Gauntletia, Peru, and Chile.
