The Captiol Building of Eagleia...

The Capitol Building of Eagleia is the seat of Eagleia's Congress, which, in it's full definition includes the Sovereign, the Lords, the Representatives, the Highest Judges in the land and several other high officials. As such, the Capitol building is the most important building in Eagleia and therefore is located at the very center and heart of the Eagleton DV, the capital of Eagleia. The Throne of Eagleia itself is located inside the building.

The building contains several important rooms and chambers. (Looking from the East) The House of Representatives is the left chamber, the House of Lords is the right chamber and the Throne room is in the center.

The Throne Room

The Throne room of Eagleia is located in the very center of the Capitol Building. It is the most important room. This is the room where the entire Congress gathers to hear the Throne Speech to open a new session of Congress.

Picture: The Throne Room of Eagleia with focus on the Imperial Throne. The Monarch sits on the Throne (The Imperial Throne) in the centre, and his/her consort sits on the one next to the Throne. If the Monarch and his/her consort are not available, the Governor General or Deputy Governor General delivers the Speech from the Throne, if the person delivering Throne Speech does not have a consort, then the Royal Scepter lies on the Consort's Throne instead, symbolizing the Governor-General's (and his representatives) important relationship with the Sovereign. On the other side of the Throne is the flag of Eagleia. Above is the Royal Cypher of the current Monarch. Above that is a portrait Queen Elizabeth II, the first Sovereign of a federated Eagleia. Seats with cyan backs are reserved for high officials and VIPs, such as the Prime Minister, Governors and Premiers, etc if present. Seats with red backs, of which there are a 100, are reserved for the Lords and green ones for the Representatives (of which there are 400 seats). Any remaining Representatives and other guests stand at the back or on the balconies above. All around the Hall are portraits of famous Eagleian events, places, etc.

The Chamber of the House of Lords of Eagleia is where the Upper House, the House of Lords, of Eagleia sits.

Picture: In front are Chairs for the Governor General, the Deputy Governor General, and the Lord President. On the sides are seats for the Lords.

The Chamber of the House of Representatives of Eagleia is where the Lower House, the House of Representatives, of Eagleia sits.

Picture: In front is a Chair for the Speaker of the Representatives, to the right (in the Speaker's view - in this view, left) is the leading party and usually therefore Her Majesty's Government, to the left of the Speaker is the Official Opposition, and other opposing parties. Neutral parties sit at the back, beyond the curve.

There are ten large extra chambers within the Capitol Building to be used when and as needed. An example would be a gathering of both the Lords and Representatives when it is not time for a Throne speech, but however in situations such solving problems and issues between the Houses.
