[edit] Young Comrade Damon
Comrade Damon grew up in a small, old house in the outskirts of Seattle. His family was very poor, but also very enjoyable to be part of. In his memoirs, our Comrade recalls the numerous times that he went with his father to the food bank in Bothell, and then walked across the street to the library to get books. His father, a Socialist and agnostic, was an intelligent man who worked in construction. He had seen firsthand the injustices that the capitalist system inflicts on the poor, and talked to his son about politics and economics at a young age. Our Comrade says he always had radical views, most likely stemming from his proletarian background, but never considered himself a Communist until entering junior high. The summer prior to his entering junior high, he had read "The Communist Manifesto," and various other Communistic writings by other revolutionaries and philosophers. "That was when it finally clicked," reminisces our Comrade, "I realized that everything I had gone through so far, the poverty, everything, was a result of class struggle. And I wanted to be in the front lines of that struggle."
[edit] Pre-Revolutionary Days
[edit] A Revolutionary Idea
It all started on a hazy summers day, when young Damon Benson, a young communist, had a wondrous idea. He imagined a nation where all people got the materials they needed to live, and there was no poverty, homelessness, or joblessness. He enjoyed political conversation and intrigue a great deal, and he discussed this idea with his school friends. He thought that maybe, someday, he would be part of such a nation. He could never have imagined the role he would play in world history. That following winter, during the infamous Northwest rains, Comrade Damon wrote the now world-renowned "August Manifesto," which detailed his plans to transform the Pacific Northwest into a great Socialist nation.
[edit] The SRC
Comrade Damon had entered high school, and upon writing the "August Manifesto," he found growing support among his classmates for a People's Revolution. He wrote out a charter for a Vanguard Party, which he named, "The Students Revolutionary Committee." Membership included teens from working class backgrounds, as well as a solid number of students with bourgeois histories, but had become disillusioned with the frenzied consumerism that had come to characterize American life. The SRC had a huge influence on school internal policies, and many restrictions put upon the students of Bothell were abolished due to intervention on the part of the SRC.
[edit] Expansion & Growth
The total SRC membership had risen to over three hundred at Bothell High School, and the leadership of the Committee finally decided to open up chapters all over high schools and college campuses in Washington and Oregon States. Membership tripled in the first week, and the Committee made the news during the famous, "March Walkout," of 2009, wherein over eight hundred students walked out of class, calling for an end to all foreign wars and occupations that the nation was engaged in. By the time Comrade Damon graduated from high school in June, 2010, membership had risen to 3400.
[edit] A Vanguard Party
In early July of 2010, Comrade Damon announced the formation of a new political Party, to be named, "The People's Socialist Party of America." Application to the Party required you be of legal voting age, and every single member of the SRC in Comrade Damon's graduating class joined the Party. Join rates from the rest of the graduated SRC membership was around 96-98%. The Party only accepted legal residents of Washington and Oregon as members.
[edit] Senatorial Campaign
By 2013, the PSPA had hundreds of thousands of members, and plenty of supporters across the nation who donated money to help the Party. An amendment to the Constitution was passed by the Congress, with CPUSA, RCP, SPUSA, Progressive Party, and Democratic support, lowering the age requirement to run for any public office to 21. Comrade Damon began his campaign for Senator from Washington, and won with 68% of the vote in 2014. Being the only PSPA member in all of Congress, he was routinely voted down by Republican and moderate/conservative Democratic politicians. Notable in his Senatorial career are his proposing a bill for universal health care and the nationalization of colleges.
[edit] Frustration
Infuriated by the predominance of bourgeois thought in American politics, Comrade Damon and the leadership of the PSPA decided to take more drastic action against the corrupted politicians, and began making plans to strike directly at the State. When our Comrade voiced his intentions to loyal Party members, they eagerly signed up for the expedition. 100,000 American citizens from the Pacific Northwest simultaneously left for the People's Republic of Mexico, now controlled by Subcomandante Marcos.
[edit] Militancy
Subcomandante Marcos had met with our Comrade previous to this, and had agreed to train 100,000 Party members in revolutionary warfare. Six months before the end of Comrade Damon's term as Senator, the thousands of Party members returned to the Northwest. A few weeks later, unmarked cargo ships, later confirmed to be Mexican, glided into Portland and the Port of Seattle, where the thousands of Party members met them. Before counterrevolutionary forced could arrive, the mob was organized into their predetermined division and units, armed, and had begun securing government buildings, places of commerce, broadcasting stations, and took control of several docked Trident submarines, armed with Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles.
[edit] Revolution
The counterrevolutionary elements across Washington and Oregon were quickly suppressed withing hours. The national guard and the army were on their way, and Party fighters were as dug in as they could get. Comrade Damon announced to the world that the new revolutionary army, "The Red Army," had secured several nuclear missiles, and would use them if attacked by the United States. Our Comrade proclaimed a new nation to be born out of the ashes of the old, the People's Demokratik Republic of Demokratikos.
[edit] Counterrevolution
The US armed forces paid no heed to our Comrade's warning. They came, with their attack helicopters and their M1A1 Abrams and their M4s to destroy us. What came next was a bloodbath. Comrade Damon authorized the use of tactical nuclear weapons on the forces as they approached Seattle (renamed Revolution City), and Portland (renamed Proletarian Stronghold), and their forces were caught unawares. Hundreds of thousands of US troops were estimated killed, and the scattered remains of their forces fled into the Cascade Mountains, only to be met with further nuclear strikes.
[edit] Ultimatum
Our Comrade demanded of the US a cease-fire, and that is exactly what he got. The President of the US made a speech, saying he considered the Revolution an atrocity and abomination, but US troops never entered Demokratikan territory again, and days later, a Non-Aggression Pact was signed. Months later, spurred on by their comrades' victory, the people of California rose up against their capitalist masters, forming Califas Sovietica, with RedTerror as their leader, who became a close ally to Demokratikos, as did the People's Republic of Mexico.
[edit] Post-Revolution
[edit] First Acts
As soon as a functioning government was established by the Party leadership, the Central Committee voted to change their name to the Demokratikan Communist Party. The Party immediately banned all political parties other than the DCP. Various Commissariat positions and departments were created to ensure the safety and well-being of the people of Demokratikos. All private businesses were immediately nationalized. The directors and CEOs of corporations known for their exploitative practices were tried before the newly established People's Congress, the legislative and judicial branch of the State. Heads of multinational corporations who had committed crimes within the borders of Demokratikos were hunted down by Ministry for State Security. All criminals apprehended were tried and convicted by the people of Demokratikos, and shot.
[edit] Socialist Workers Front
Comrade Damon received word from a large Leftist alliance known as the Socialist Workers Front that his membership in the alliance was desired. Our Comrade accepted this invitation, and joined the SWF. He was not a very vocal member of this alliance. It was not long before the Nordreich attacked the nation of Demokratikos during the chaotic period of Global War III. The nation of Demokratikos was sent into anarchy, and the government had to operate from secret locations. Eventually, through the military aid of his comrades, our Comrade was able to launch a series of offensives against the three nations at war with him, throwing them all into anarchy. With the nations industry in ruins, and the leadership of the SWF having disbanded the alliance, Comrade Damon was forced to seek out a new alliance to protect his nation and help rebuild.
[edit] Libertarian Socialist Federation
The DCP voted to join the LSF after the Socialist Workers Front disbanded itself, and Comrade Damon applied for membership. He was welcomed, and greeted with rebuilding aid to help his economy still suffering from the attacks of the Nordreich. Comrade Damon was a vocal member of the LSF, making several enemies and comrades almost immediately. He recalls that he ofter partook in ideological debates with fellow members of the Federation, arguing his belief in national autonomy, authoritarian socialism, and nationalism. It is during this period that the flag of Demokratikos was made official, which represents the union of the workers and peasants, socialism, nationalism, and gay rights. It was not long before our Comrade starting longing for a more efficient system than the direct democracy that the LSF participated in. Therefore, when LSF founder Haraldur announced he wanted volunteers to start a new alliance that was a blend of libertarianism and authoritarianism, our Comrade immediately signed on as Foreign Commissar of the Communist Party of CyberNations.
[edit] Communist Party of CyberNations
Comrade Damon was officially the first member of the CPCN, and the Party Headquarters was located in Revolution City. He was most pleased to see that a new alliance, based on Marxism-Leninism was about to be founded. After acquiring Protectorate status from the LSF, the CPCN announced their existence to all of Planet Bob. Our Comrade succeeded in securing Protectorate status from the Socialistic Empire as head of the Foreign Department. After one month, elections were held, and Comrade Damon faced off against Finnish Commie for the position of Party Chairman, the chief executive position in the Party. After Comrade Damon received 58% of the vote, Finnish Commie announced that he was withdrawing from the race. "There is no way I am going to win now," stated the slightly upset Finnish Commie.
[edit] October Revolution
Disconcerted by the amount of revisionist and anarchist members in the Party, our Comrade began communicating with fellow Party members and prominent leaders of the Left on Planet Bob. Eventually, Comrade Damon decided that it was necessary to gain veto power over the General Assembly of the Party, as they were overstepping their bounds daily. He and his supporters also decided that a representative democratic system was needed to ensure the efficiency of the Party. Therefore they began drafting a revised Constitution of the CPCN, weeks before October 25th, the day of the October Revolution.
[edit] Zero Hour
At 6:00 AM Pacific Time, our Comrade announced the instatement of the new constitution. Ten hours later, when Comrade Damon had gathered enough information, he began expelling counterrevolutionary elements from the CPCN. Announcements were made to other alliances and also to the entirety of Planet Bob.
[edit] Neo-LSF
A rebel group, who adopted the political system of the LSF, and therefore are known as the Neo-LSF, attacked the nation of Demokratikos, and started a rebellion within the Party. Our Comrade organized a defense immediately, and the nation of Demokratikos was still able to run their economy to ensure a surplus when taxes were collected. Counterattacks were launched against these reactionary elements within the Party, but peace was what was desired over all.
- Final Statement upon the disbandment of the Demokratikan State and the Exodus to Isokratia, and from there, the Reclamation ( Ksehersonos ) and the multi-national State.
