Federated Allied Independence League (FAIL) is an alliance based on the theme of a holy empire. It was founded both by Rebel Virginia in January 2010 and by XRCatD in January 2012. The current Federated Allied Independence League does not officially distinguish between itself and the older incarnation of FAIL as separate alliances, but recognizes all existing members with the correct AA as part of the empire. They are listed here for the sake of organization and clarity.
