The small but prosperous nation of Gulo Gulo sits slight south of picturesque Ann Arbor. The hardworking Celtics that make up Gulo Gulo are know for their down to earth honesty, their fiery tempers, excellent selection of dark beers. Gulo Gulo has three national sports, football for the fall, hockey for the winter and competitive kayaking for the few short months of warm weather the region receives.
Gulo Gulo was found in 2007 ACE following the exodus of the people of Dublin, Ireland to less radioactive climate. They made their mark upon the land early on with the construction of archaic castles. These marble behemoths dominate Gulo Gulo’s skyline and despite their Dark Ages stylings they have full featured amenities. Gulo Gulo also features the world’s largest football stadium known simply as “The Big House.”
Gulo Gulo is not an aggressive nation, but its people do value military tradition. The doctrine of Theodore Roosevelt, to speak softly and carry a big stick, is accepted in most political circles. The Gulo Gulo military currently consists only of the National Guard, a primarily defensive force restricted to infantry operations. The current political rulers of Gulo Gulo seem to view the military as a means of defense and protection of allies rather than as an instrument of expansion.
Gulo Gulo is ruled by the Magravine CRex, a fifth generation noble. According to rumor the good Magravine is descended from Sir Francis Drake by way of an illicit liaison with an Irish bar maid. Magravine CRex is known to be active in the Farkistani Alliance’s defensive command structure where he holds the rank of Captain, a point of pride for many of the Gulo Gulo citizens. Despite their small numbers the citizens of Gulo Gulo have been flocking to join the military and bring glory to any defensive actions spearhead by the Magravine.
