Hades is a nation located in the midwest section of what was once the United States. The capital city of the empire of Hades, or Hadethan Empire, is the central city of Hades, or what was once called Dayton, Ohio.
Hades has access to several major riverways, and makes use of one of the largest airforce facilities in the world (Wright Patterson Airforce Base). The population of Hades is primarily of Germanic origin, practice the Baha'i Faith, and enjoy a strong monarchy.

Future plans for Hades include further expansion, possibly over the whole of the state of Ohio. Development of the Ohio River is also underway, with a growing business in riverboat casino gambling, which the populace finds quite enjoyable. Under the rule of Ulairix, Hades (Dayton) became larger than the city of Cincinatti, which has been renamed to 'Dis', the city of Satan. The economy of Hades is centered around spices and sugar, it's two major exports. Hades imports most other materials, but has an average economy. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. The military of Hadethan Empire has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Hadethan Empire allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest law breakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for the immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Hadethan Empire believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizens right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Hadethan Empire will trade with other nations with questionable ethical treatment of its citizens but prefers to keep such trade agreements a secret.
