Hizb Islam was CyberNation's first known Islamic alliance. As a religious alliance, it was the Muslim equivalent to the Christian Coalition of Countries, Team JESUS or the Arctic Byzantine Alliance.

Little is currently known of Hizb Islam (English, Party of Islam or Party of Submission). The alliance apparently was established some time in the last half of 2006, and had disbanded before February of 2007. Hizb Islam became entangled in a disastrous dispute with FAN, who subsequently hammered them to near extinction.

Rumors abound that at the same time, there had either been an internal split between the more peaceful, moderate alliance members and its more aggressive ones, or that its leadership had been infiltrated by a spy intent on destroying Hizb Islam from within. Whichever the case, what would have been a potentially significant alliance instead fell apart under the intense pressure placed upon it, both internally and externally.

It is speculated that most of the genuinely Muslim nations and rulers involved with Hizb Islam left CyberNations altogether when their alliance disbanded.
