Iunctus was founded on November 18, 2008, shortly after the release of several Prisoners of War from the CIS-1V War. The POWs had stuck together through the POW sentence, sharing trades and doing tech deals amongst themselves while anxiously awaiting their release. Since a great bond had been formed through this three month period among said nations, it was only right that they formed an alliance together.

• November 18, 2008 - Iunctus is founded by TheChad4610, sammykhalifa, Reebeck, Galvatros and Euraldius. Announcement of the protectorate agreement with The Centurion Brotherhood.
• February 10, 2009 - Iunctus signs the Dark Vows treaty.
• February 27, 2009 - Only three short months after forming, Iunctus has a total nation strength of 500,000!

In order to establish a unified body amidst the ever-changing Bob, the Planet;

We, the undersigned, do establish the Charter and Law of Iunctus.

[edit] I. Admission

To be accepted into the ranks of Iunctus, one must secure a means of communication with our alliance by registering on our forums and beginning the application process. Procedure may vary, and will be followed as established by the reigning Imperator et al.

[edit] II. The High Order

A: Imperator The position of Imperator represents Iunctus. They are the final word on all matters within the alliance. The Imperator serves for life or until resignation.

B: Praetor The Praetor is held by one single person, trusted fully by the Imperator to the operations of Iunctus in the event of the Imperator’s absence.

C: Patronus Council The position of Patron is an appointed position for those trusted by the Imperator who show themselves worthy of assisting in the operations of the alliance. The Patron shall form the Patronus Council, responsible for advising the Imperator on all affairs, foreign and domestic. They are the acting hand of the Imperator. This position serves for life or until resignation or dismissal.

D: Senate The Senate will be the elected representatives of the membership. The elected Senators shall be charged with fulfilling their individual assignments, seeing that their departments are fully operational, and functioning at the highest efficiencies. They are permitted to appoint deputies in an effort to fulfill the job; deputies must be approved by the Patronus Council.

[edit] III. The Iunctus Member Body

Iunctus Member Body Membership in Iunctus is currently divided between Sanctioned and Unsanctioned Membership.

A. Unsanctioned Membership Unsanctioned members are those who have not completed a membership track, as described in point 2 of this section.

B. Sanctioned Membership Sanctioned members are members who have completed a membership track as described below. Each new member must proceed through a membership track in order to receive maximum member benefits.

1. Civilian Track 2. Military-Ready Track

Both tracks will have procedures established and out-lined, and be available on the home forums.

C. Iunctus Rank Advancement Program Through the Iunctus Rank Advancement Program (hereafter referred to as IRAP), members may be given rewards or demerits based on performance within the alliance. Each member will enlist into the program upon entering the alliance in order to receive full benefits. Each member is charged with earning their benefits, though each member does not have to seek advancement in order to retain their membership. This program applies to both the Civilian Track and Military-Ready Track.

D. Removal from the Body At any time deemed necessary by the Imperator or Praetor, a member may be removed from the alliance for treason, aiding a foreign enemy, or partaking in unauthorized war on another nation, aligned or unaligned. Any other reason will be discussed by the Imperator and the Patronus Counsul.

[edit] IV. Miscellaneous

A. Amendments Any member may propose an amendment to this charter. The amendment must receive approval from the Imperator and Praetor first, then, must receive a 75% +1 of the membership vote for the amendment to pass.

This Charter is hereby established this 14th day of February, in the year of our Lord, two-thousand and nine.
