New Rusland is a small, under developed, and young nation at 21 days old with citizens primarily of Russian ethnicity whose religion is Baha'i Faith. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of New Rusland work diligently to produce Iron and Oil as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. When it comes to nuclear weapons New Rusland will not research or develop nuclear weapons. Plans are on the way within New Rusland to open new rehabilitation centers across the nation and educate its citizens of the dangers of drug use. New Rusland allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. New Rusland believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. New Rusland will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

New Rusland was formed as surviving citizens of Rusland escaped from the desolate remains of their once existent country. They then formed New Rusland, and had to work from the ground up to reform an empire. New Rusland is still in a stage of infancy but will grow great too. New Rusland has, as of yet, never been involved in any wars, but maintains an impressively trained and sizable standing army in case of attack. The leaders of New Rusland cooperate closely with their ally, Benjian Empire, to forge the strongest possible and most protective relationship. They look to the rest of Planet Bob for new friends and countries who may share in their ambitions.
