Nordikrieg is a small, developing, and maturing nation at 33 days old with citizens primarily of Scandinavian ethnicity whose religion is Buddhism. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'.Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Nordikrieg work diligently to produce Coal and Rubber as tradable resources for their nation. It is a very passive country when it comes to foreign affairs and has no interests in war.
History[]
Independence[]
On 22 August 2007, Nordikrieg gained independence from the Kingdom of Denmark, which is the former ruler of Greenland. After a long period of anarchy, the people living in the former capital of Greenland supported a heroic politician, Darken, to be the new ruler. The capital city was moved to upstream of the original one, named Merovis, and a new, transitional government is formed.
In remembrance of the discovery of Greenland by the Nordic people, the country was named as Nordikrieg, or officially known as the Confederation of Nordikrieg.
Joining NATO[]
As seen to be accepted by most nations around the Atlantic Ocean, the new nation seeks support from NATO.

Nordikrieg is a close ally of Russia Federation (Euro-Russia), HKSAR(Southern China), Germanic Empire (Southern China).
Government Position[]
Nordikrieg is currently researching nuclear technology for the use of nuclear power plants but believes nuclear weapons should be banned. The military of Nordikrieg has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Nordikrieg allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Nordikrieg believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. The government of Nordikrieg will trade with any other country regardless of ethical consequences.
