The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is the third largest alliance in the Blue sphere. NATO has many allies and a rich history of over 6 years.

The Charter of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization defines the rights and responsibilities of members, and determines how alliance is governed.
HistoryEdit
NATO was founded on the Aqua sphere, where it was a major player in early Aqua politics. However, as a result of the Karma War and Bipolar War, NATO found itself distanced from many Aqua alliances, but also holding very strong ties to the Blue sphere. This was most especially true with The Foreign Division, NATO's closest ally and Dual-Membership Treaty holder. As a result, on March 23, 2010, NATO announced its exodus to Blue sphere.
On August 13, 2012 NATO's ally The Foreign Division unanimously voted to merge into NATO. NATO assumed responsibility for TFD's protectorate, House Atreides. As tribute to TFD, NATO adopted the TFD war flag as NATO's new war flag.[1]
