The Office of the Lord is the Executive Branch of the Government of the Viridian Entente. It consists of the Lord, Duke, Dominus Emeritus, and Ministers of Awesome.
The Lord of the Entente is the Head of State and Head of Government of the Viridian Entente. As the chief executive, the Lord is charged with setting the overall goals and visions of the Entente, overseeing Parliament, affirming or vetoing legislation, protecting the Entente from outside forces, maintaining the organization of the alliance, and acting as its chief representative and diplomat.
There have been eleven Lords of the Entente, since the alliance was first created by Egore in July 2006; Egore, Peeko, Argin, Ardus, Rayvon, Cornelius, Solaris, Impero, Goldie, Baltus and Supreme 142. Each of these men have had a profound influence and lasting effect on the Entente as it is known today. The Ninth and Current Lord of the Viridian Entente is Goldielax25.
Egore founded the Viridian Entente alongside Peeko on July 12, 2006 as the first Lord. He has had, and continues to have, a profound influence on the culture of the Viridian Entente. His morals and demeanor set the precedent for how the Entente would act internally and externally for years to come.
Impero was a pivotal Lord of the Viridian Entente having served for over 2 years, the longest term at the time. He previously served as Secretary of Defense and Duke before ascending to Lord. He led Viridia to many major victories and into a new transition period, before retiring after the loss sustained in the Dave War to assume an advisory role.
Goldie is the longest serving Lord of the Viridian Entente. Until his retirement, he had continuously served in Viridian government since 2009. He served as Secretary of the Interior, of Defense and as Duke before his promotion. His reign saw the rejuvenation of the Entente after the defeat incurred in the Dave War.
Baltus was Lord of the Viridian Entente from 2015 to early 2016. Under his tenure, the Viridian Entente joined Oculus and re-attained sanction status. He had previous served as Secretary of the Interior, of State and as Duke prior to becoming Lord.
Supreme 142 is the current Lord of the Viridian Entente. His tenure has been one of the longest, as the game entered a gradual decline. Supreme served as Secretary of Defense, of State and as Duke prior to becoming Lord.
The Duke of the Viridian Entente is second-in-command of the Viridian Entente. The Duke is an intermediate between Parliament and the Office of the Lord. Like other members of upper government, the Duke is appointed by the Lord and serves at the Lord's discretion. The Duke is the presumptive heir of the Lord of the Viridan Entente. So far, 5 Dukes have gone on to be Lord. The current Duke of the Viridian Entente is Supreme 142
