The Order of Eagleia is the highest and thus far the only official order of honor in Eagleia. It is an order for recognizing distinguished service in the armed forces, science, art, literature, or for the promotion of culture, etc. It was established on August 12th 2009 by Queen Elizabeth II after an official recommendation from the Governor General Sir Knowzilla. It is currently the only way to become knighted in Eagleia.

The Order is headed by the Sovereign and is split into 3 sections: Knights, Officers and Members. The Order also has a 'Honorary Members' section, for people who are awarded the Order, but are not Eagleian. People who hold certain offices are not allowed into the Order, such as Members of the House of Lords of Eagleia, usually as it would be considered too much to hold that office and be a OE holder too.

Knighthood (or Damehood, in case of a woman) is only granted if a person if promoted/appointed to a position above Officer (i.e - Knight). It is very rare for a person to be made a Knight or Dame of the Order.

On 13th August 2009, the rules of Order which stated the maximum amount of membership of the order were repealed. This was mainly because it limited the amount of Knights/Dames to 5 only, which did not seem like a good idea.

The limit rules before 13th August 2009 were as follows: "At any given time there may be only 5 Knights/Dames, 20 Officers, and 50 Members (There can be less than that, but no more than that). There may be any amount of Honorary Members at any given time. The Order is headed by the Sovereign and governed on behalf of him/her by the Governor General of Eagleia. The Sovereign and Chancellor of the Order is not counted in 75 substantive members count, therefore making the Order able to have 77 persons within it at maximum."

Even though the limits were taken off, it still remains very hard to become part of the Order.

A person who is holder of the Order of Eagleia receives the following privileges:

  • Is entitled to the post nominal letters OE if a Member or Honorary Member, OOE if a Officer of the Order, or KOE if a Knight/Dame of the Order.
  • Given an official recognition certificate, signed by the Chancellor if a Member, Honorary Member or Officer, signed personally by the Queen if a Knight.
  • The right to wear a badge or medal of the Order.
  • Usually will be saluted by nearly all levels of military personal, regardless of personal level, if a military personal themselves (and in duty).
  • May be invited to a gathering by the Governor General (who is also Chancellor of the Order).
  • If a very senior member of the order, or a Knight/Dame, chance of being invited to a gathering at Eagleia Palace by the Queen.
  • The right to be titled 'Sir' or 'Dame' if a Knight/Dame of the order.
  • Chances of receiving "gifts" from the Sovereign, such as land.
