While the NPO has had versions of the RC in the past, the current Recruiting Department emerged in its modern form in April 2007 as a project started by TrotskysRevenge and Sir Donald R. Deamon.
The ultimate goal of the RC is simple: to bring in new members on a daily basis. The day-to-day duties of the Recruiters Corps are to contact new CN players and to persuade them to join the NPO. Recruiters also message established players who have been on Planet Bob for a while but who remain unaligned. Recruiters work to try and convince nations why the NPO is the right place to call home.
The Recruiters Corps has set records on Planet Bob for recruiting, and the RC plans to continue their record-breaking feats while always envisioning the achievement of building the largest and most powerful alliance in the world and to continually show growth. During the NPO's reparations following the aftermath of the Karma War, the RC played an integral role in minimizing the loss of members.

Recruiting Corps Ranks

The Chief of Recruitment is the person responsible for running the RC Department. They make choices about how the tasks will be dealt with and if new recruiting methods should be introduced.
Head Hunters oversee each individual section of the RC and lead them.
Talent Agents are a step below headhunters. They assist their Head Hunter with running the sub-section within RC.
Enlisters are individual recruiters that have been recognized ofr doing hard work.
Recruiters are the backbone of the RC, they are responsible for the work that gets carried out. They tirelessly send messages to new and old nations as well as assist in coming up with new ideas for the RC
Honorary Recruiters are retired recruiters who have made significant contributions to RC.
Recruiting Corps DivisionsEdit
The Recruitment Corps is broken up into two distinct sections: the 'New Nations Division' and the 'List Division'. In early December 2008, the RC was restructured into New Nations, Lists, Personnel divisions. In May 2011 when DRCOOL was promoted to Chief of Recruitment he ended the Personnel Division to slim down the RC leadership. The Personnel section was responsible for looking after each individual recruiter, ensuring that all projects were being completed and the work was being done. The responsibilities of the Personnel Division were divided up amongst the RC leadership.
New Nations DivisionEdit
The New Nations Division focuses on messaging the newest members of CN after they have created their nations. The New Nations Division has always played a prominent part in the RC and continues to be the main source of new recruits.
List DivisionEdit
The List Division operates in conjunction with the New Nations Division. The List Division however focuses its efforts on older nations in CN, compiling mailing lists to dispatch to them to inform them about the benefits of joining the NPO and also inviting them to visit the NPO forum.

The November 2009 Recruitment Competition Award was a one time event in which counted the amount of applicants the recruiters drew to Pacifica. Contra won the Gold Medal Award with 6 applicants. Walt Schmidt won the Silver Medal Award with 5 applicants. math2 won the Bronze Medal Award with 3 applicants. Some of the other recruiters participating in the competition were Babyslate08 who came in fourth place with 2 applicants, and sharing fifth place was Bilrow, Jordanhazy and Sir Glen who all got 1 applicant.

The Intense Influx Awards were awarded for participation and scoring 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Intense Influx Recruiting Competitions held throughout the Recruiting Corps' time. The Competitions were held so long ago records are few and far between. However two recipients of the Silver Award we found.

In early January 2009 the MDoAP bloc One Vision announced the Crystal Ball Cup recruitment competition between its member alliances. After two hard weeks of competition, the NPO Recruiting Corps proved themselves with a massive increase of 114 recruits. Coming in second was MCXA with an equally respectable 66 recruits. The rest of the field was completed by the alliance GGA with 40, IRON with 36 and finally Echelon with 6.

Added by RogalDornOn November 30, 2007 Sir Donald R. Deamon from Pacifica announced the Icecaps Cup Recruitment Competition that the two sister orders New Pacific Order and the New Polar Order were having. It was a two week recruitment competition amongst themselves. It started December 1 and lasted for two weeks, at which time the total number of applicants each alliance had between that time would be tallied up and the winner announced. On December 17 with nearly a 3:1 recruitment ratio the competition ended with Pacifica having 156 applicants and Polaris having 47 applicants. Pacifica won and took home the Hot Ice Cup. As recognition for their excellent work the following Pacificans earned the Polar Icecaps Cup Award as a result.
