The Guard was founded by 3 friends (Poooos Pod 2 from Poooos Pod, King Match from Armalitia and Brother Cavil from Cylon Nation) on February 2008 in an effort to create security for themselves and their trading partners.
The Guard is a mostly Black Team alliance that prefer to eschew tech-raiding and other aggression, but who will defend themselves and their allies if needs be. They try to trade between themselves. They have no formal charter or government, and make all decisions as a collective.
