Originally founded by Combat Wombat and HoseKing, at its peak the Wombat Protectorate had thirty-three members. We promoted helping each other out and supporting our allies and team in times of need.

On December 4, 2007, AndyCarnegie of Fiducia became Acting President of the WP. It was hoped that this would be a temporary arrangement, but it lasted until his retirement on March 23, 2008, after the majority of the remaining members had transferred their allegiance to The Revolution.
